Fare thee well ...!

Firstly let me apologise for not updating the site for ages. Entirely my fault due to work commitments, but I do have to pay for the helis somehow.

There has been a major change in the last month in that Mark Turner our club secretary has had to stand down from his post. I would like to publicly thank Mark on behalf of the committee and the club membership for all the hard work he has put in over the last two years. As many will know the clubs administration was in a 'little disarray' when he took over the post, Mark has completely turned this around and set-up some great systems to ensure we are on top of everything. Once again, thank you Mark

The secretarial reigns have been taken up by a long standing club member, Dave Goss [long standing = old]. I will be getting a photo of him to add to the Contacts and About pages soon, but most will know him for the large red "Huey" that he regularly fly's. I am sure Dave's experience will keep us all in check and on the right path. Please note the Secretary's e-mail address has changed, the link on the Contacts page has been updated.

I am sorry to have to report that membership is now closed. The field is very active at weekends and some great flying is to be seen. If you are interested in joining us then you can still complete an application form which will be held on a waiting list until a space becomes available.

Please remember that the first Tuesday of the month is the club barbeque evening. These are free for all club members. Last week was a great evening and only a handful of us turned up. Come down and have a burger, put the world to rights and have a fly.

Now a personal message. I am desperate for some photographs to update the site. I see many cameras on the field so if you would like your photographic masterpieces immortalised on this site e-mail them to me.

Remember safe flying is no accident. Graham
